The youth should be fully sensitized about the aims and objectives of the Pakistan Movement

The youth should be fully sensitized about the aims and objectives of the Pakistan Movement so that they could wholly understand the rationale and importance of two-nation theory in its truest sense.
Managing Director PEF Tariq Mahmood said this while addressing the function at Nazaria Pakistan Trust (NPT) on Wednesday. The function was largely attended by the students of PEF partnering schools and their teachers who visited the NPT to pay homage to nation’s forefathers on the occasion of March 23.
MD PEF said that Muslims of the sub-continent have left lasting imprints on the history of south asia with their great sacrifices and secured our future with their dedicated struggle. It is because of their efforts that we are living today as independent citizens. This country is the result of sacrifices of our elders led by Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah; and now it’s our collective responsibility to make this country prosperous and strong so that our coming generations could live an amicable life with a sense of pride. He asked the teachers to educate the students about importance of Pakistan Day and how they can play their role in nation-building. Teachers should also pay attention to the character building of the students, he added.

The function was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Rafiq Ahmad, Begum Mehnaz Rafi and others.
